Blog #4 Student Conversation

I prioritize connecting with my students by asking questions about their day, making our lessons more engaging and relevant. I often ask about the best part of their day and something new they learned, which helps me understand their interests outside of music. I also encourage them to find connections between their experiences and our lessons, making drumming more meaningful. I explore their feelings about learning, helping them recognize the joy of discovering new things. Lastly, I ask about future goals, keeping them motivated and excited for the next steps in their learning journey.
